The Monticello Economic Development Commission works closely with regional economic development initiatives. The EDC makes informed recommendations to the Common Council concerning key economic development projects.

The Monticello Redevelopment Commission was established after the April 1974 tornado. The MRC was the key agency in the rebuilding of our city.
