Monticello is a "can-do" community. We have so many people and organizations that get behind issues and projects in order to turn them into reality. People care about others and step-up when action is needed.
I am serving in my third term as a City Councilman. I am currently the President of 
the Council and work with the other Council members to manage spending and budgets among the departments of the City. I also serve on the White County Area Plan Commission. In this role, I am the liasion for the City regarding developmental activity, changing codes, zoning changes, and ordinance revisions. I have also been on various committees through the years helping shape the City's planning and progress. I also was a member of the 2011 Leadership White County Class.
Rachel and I have been blessed to make Monticello our home and raise our sons here.
