Clerk/Treasurer, Liz Oilar, is proud to be serving the City of Monticello.  As the Chief Financial officer, Liz is happy to announce her achievement of acquiring the Indiana Accredited Municipal Clerk Certification (IAMC).  Currently she is continuing her education to become a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC).  Liz devotes her time and energy into this position to better serve her community.  

The Clerk/Treasurer serves as the financial officer and record keeper for the City Council and Board of Public Works and Safety.  The Clerk provides the City Council with the budget estimates, financial statements, investments, and proposed tax rates.  All fees due to the City through fixed ordinances are collected and accounted for in the Clerk Treasurer's Office.  Payroll, Permits, Accounts Payable Vouchers, and Sales Tax are all processed in this office.

Serving as Deputy Clerk/Treasurer, Patricia Golden is in her fourteenth year of working in the Clerk/Treasurer's Office. Pat is certified as an Indiana Accredited Municipal Clerk (IAMC) and a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC).

Sarah Baunach serves as the 2nd Deputy Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Monticello.   She came to the Clerk's office with six and a half years of banking experience.  Sarah attends numerous statewide educational workshops to gain knowledge to better perform her duties of the office and to achieve the Indiana Accredited Municipal Clerk Certification (IAMC).

The Clerk/Treasurer's office is located in the Municipal Building. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
