Water Bill Delivery Problem

Due to circumstances beyond our control, several water bills have not been delivered. If you are a customer who has not received/paid your bill, please learn your invoice amount and/or pay using the following methods

Due to Indiana State Board of Accounts rules, delinquent payments can not be forgiven.

City Pool Announces Opening on May 25th

2024 Monticello City Pool Schedule Released (10 April 2024).

Monticello's Best Family Fun Value! Pool opening is Saturday, May 25th. This date may be subject to change due to weather. Please check the website often or the City Parks Facebook Page.

Pool Opening 2024 - Sat., May 25th 2023 Summer Operation Hours

  • Monday - Saturday: 12:00 Noon - 7:00pm
  • Sunday: 1:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Adult Lap Swim/Water Walking
    • M-F from 7 - 8pm
    • Saturday from 9 - 11am

Swim Lessons and Lifeguard Training Classes are available. Online Registration for swimming lessons will be announced at the end of May. Online registration will open on Monday, April 29th through the city park portal: https://montiparks.recdesk.com

$1 Million + Grant Received by Our City

Mayor Sims is excited to announce the selection of the City of Monticello for award of the Community Crossings Matching Grant funding in the amount of $1,038,258.00, which results in a total project cost of nearly $1.4M. The scope of the project will provide roadway improvements on Beechwood Drive, including new concrete curb and gutter, ADA compliant sidewalk and curb ramps, and asphalt pavement. The city will fund 25% of the project cost and the INDOT award provides 75% of the project cost. The City of Monticello has participated in the Community Crossings Matching Grant program since 2016 and this award is another great step in advancing the roadway and pedestrian network in the City of Monticello.
