Weed Wrangle- Wednesday April 15th at 4pm at Tioga Bridge Park. Park at Boys and Girls Club. We need volunteers to remove invasive species. Bring your clippers, gloves and protective clothing.

Birding Hike- Saturday April 18th at Altherr Nature Park at 8am. Katie will lead you on the trails to spot birds and hear their calls. Bring your binoculars or use ours.

Earth Day/ Arbor Day Celebration- Saturday April 18th at Bluestem Nature Center from 9am to noon. Come and explore our Earth Day crafts, information and activities. Everyone invited. Please park at Altherr Nature Park and walk over.

Tree Planting and Arbor Day Declaration- Saturday April 18th at 10am at Altherr Nature Park. Join the Mayor and Urban Tree Board as we officially become a “Tree City USA”

Arbor Day Tree ID Walk- Thursday April 18th at 12:30pm. Join Park Superintendent, Mitch Billue as he leads us on an informative walk about the different tree species located throughout Altherr Nature Park. Meet at Altherr Nature Park. For everyone. No dneed to register.

Get Out and Go Fest- Saturday April 18th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in Altherr Nature Park. An event that brings children and families together within the community to raise awareness for child abuse prevention. Sponsored by DCS.

Cement Balloon Planters- Monday April 20th at 6:00 pm-Bluestem Nature Center. For Adults. Make planters for succulents using cement and balloons! Cost $10.00. Please register at 574-583-3983 or online montiparks.recdesk.com.
