Trunk or Treat Participating Car Registration Form and Guidelines
- Downtown Trunk or Treat is a co-sponsored event by S.O.M.A. (Streets of Monticello Association), Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, the Indiana Mail Street Initiative, I.U. Health and the City of Monticello. The Trunk or Treat Event will be held on:
- Saturday, November 1st from 3:00pm-5:00pm
- Entrance is located within the parking lot behind the Post Office and along Illinois St. between Broadway & Harrison St.
- Registration of participating cars now through Friday, October 24th
- Register early - only 70 cars will be accepted this year
- Treats must be pre-wrapped and sealed (no homemade goodies allowed)
- Be prepared to accommodate approximately 1000+ children.

The Monticello Street Department announces that the Rejuvtec company will begin asphalt preservation on various streets in Monticello. Please review the procedure and streets involved below. This project is funded with a grant through the Community Crossing Grant Program.

In response to increased incidents of property damage, safety concerns, and public health risks caused by an overpopulation of deer within city limits, the Common Council of the City of Monticello has passed Ordinance No. 2025-10, establishing officially designated Deer Nuisance Zones and permitting limited, regulated archery deer hunting within these areas.

The Monticello Street Department announces that F&K Construction will be closing Tioga Road between Bluff St. and Maple St. starting on Wednesday, October 1st with plans to re-open on Friday October 3rd.

Team Up with ADA for a one of a kind Bowling and Cornhole Event. This event will be held on September 13, 2025. The proceeds from the 2025 Team Up with ADA will be used to make our City Parks more accessible.
Our event will be held at the Best Bowling Center on September 13, 2025. Bring a team or make a team here!
- 1st Set: 11:00am-1:00pm
- 2nd Set: 1:30pm-3:30pm
- Cornhole is at 11:00am only
There will be lunch and a raffle/50-50 Drawing. Family Fun for all Ages and Abilities.

All eligible City of Monticello customers are automatically enrolled and the charges below will appear on your utility bill. Call us at 574-808-4043 to decline protection and accept full responsibility for all excess water and sewer charges caused by a leak.
