The Monticello Parks & Recreation Department is currently looking to hire a full-time maintenance/equipment operator. Applications for the position can be picked up in the Anheier building located at 904 City Park Loop, the City Clerks office at 124 West Washington St. Monticello IN 47960 or obtained through the City’s Web site at www.monticelloin.gov.
Completed applications can be dropped off or mailed to the Anheier building or the Monticello Clerks office, Attention “Parks Department.” Questions regarding the position can be directed to The Monticello Parks & Recreation Department at (574) 583-3983. The Parks Department will be taking applications from interested individuals through August 28, 2026.

Monticello's Best Family Fun Value! Pool opening is Saturday, May 24th. This date may be subject to change due to weather. Please check the website often or the City Parks Facebook Page.

- M-F from 7 - 8pm
- Saturday from 9 - 11am
- Adult Water Aerobics Tues & Thu 7-8:00pm
The city pool is located at 519 S. Second Street just one block down from the high school.
